There will be two whitelist rounds. The first round (15%) is reserved for OGs and other active contributors. Everyone will have a chance to belong to this group and be able to mint the Pop Cult NFTs at a 15% discount on D-day.
The second whitelist round is reserved for those who missed out on our initial whitelist. For this group there won’t be a discount, but you are guaranteed a mint with a short priority on the public sale.

About
Iwan Smit
Starting off with an interest in drawing, Iwan Smit studied Illustration and Fine Arts, where he began to paint and eventually started to develop the three-dimensionality of his images in sculptures and light works. The Artist's work navigates between heavy themes and lightheartedness, often resulting in colourful worlds with a dark twist.
Drawing and painting is a way for Iwan to channel past events and feelings and investigate notions of fear, mortality and legacy. He attempt's to make sense of the world through mixing his own experiences with collective beliefs, often questioning mythological symbols and their representation to create his own narratives.

Pop Cult – by Iwan Smit is an exclusive collection of 10,000 uniquely generated collectible NFT characters with proof of ownership stored on Ethereum. Pop Cult refers to ʻPopular Cultureʼ but at the same time uses the word Cult as a way to describe the community surrounding it.
We expect the mint to take place in late Q3 and will communicate the exact date once we have established it. Market conditions will be considered when making this decision.
Your unique NFT artwork will be sent to the wallet you purchased via in a matter of time.
Exclusively via the website. Otherwise users would be able to find the contract address through the website, which would expose the contract. We don't want that to happen.
This will be after the public sale. Whitelisted addresses will have their Pop Cult NFT in their wallet, but the characters remain temporarily hidden.
All individual pieces have been created by hand and algorithmically generated. We are working on the release of the rarity page.
